I believe that effective design and content creation go beyond aesthetics; they serve a purpose, communicate strategically, and inspire action.

The concept for Emma Taylor is from a brief challenge by @thebriefassociation on Instagram, and my submission won for this week’s challenge.

I developed elements of the visual identity, including the logo suite, type suite, and the color palette, and I designed the layout of the website as well.

At Aspen Theory, I contributed to the redesign of the brandmark for Green Connection, a landscaping business based in Anchorage, Alaska. The goal was to refresh their long-standing logo while still honoring their roots.

To achieve this, I simplified and refined the existing logo illustration, maintaining its recognizability and connection to the original design. As a Studio Assistant, I collaborated closely with Aspen Theory's founder and creative director, Kirsten Meyerson, to create the updated brandmark and its variations (excluding the wordmark and color palette).

The concept for croissaint is from a brief challenge by @modernbrief on Instagram. I developed elements of the visual identity, including the logo suite, type suite, and the color palette, and I designed the layout of the brand guide.

COTTAGE GROVE INN

At Cottage Grove Inn, I independently crafted and implemented their social media strategy that boosted their brand awareness, traffic to their website, and increased bookings.

This included making periodic visits to shoot photos and videos of the property and hotel's location. I also designed custom graphics and reels for Instagram and Facebook to promote social media-exclusive promo codes, some examples of which are included below.

The content that I created was also shared and reposted across @visitnapavalley and @visitcalistoga's profiles which aided in boosting brand awareness.

Additionally, I optimized their Instagram profile by refining the bio to better highlight the hotel's key features for their target audience, organized the highlights for clarity, and overall curated content around their main brand pillars.

Below are maps I illustrated for the recently published fantasy book Design of Darkness by author R.D. Pires, released on June 21st, 2024.

Pires had created the initial sketches of what the maps should look like. Based on those drafts, I then drew the finalized versions in Procreate and added the text through Photoshop.

I hand-drew the mountains, volcanos, and palm trees in the map of Kailon, and for the mountains and trees in the other maps, I used pre-made paintbrushes.

Lolo's is a concept for an urban sushi restaurant created by @modernbrief on Instagram.

This is my take on the concept, featuring bold, vibrant illustrations and type that represent the restaurant's charm and appeal.
